It's really in the H3 trailer.you can see right through his helmet. He has a scar on the right side of his face. And he has no pupils, and you can see his nose.So watch the H3 trailer and stop it right when it's close and you might be able to see it.

Uhm I can't see anything. Are we even supposed to be able to see through that visor?
I think someone has started another "I saw a tiny subpixel flash during 2 frames and I have proof that X is indeed Y" rumor.

Its photoshopped..I can tell.

I circled the "eyes" for you. They are obviously a copy of the huge hole in the sky. The first one isnt, the second one is. Noones eyes are that close together anyways. His eye is to close to his nose...an eye is usually an inch or so from the ear, right? That is like, 3 inches.

It is NOT photo shopped. That is the actual Picture Bungie released. I let it go but I just noticed it (It's my dashboard theme) the object in the center of the Chief's visor is the cloud vortex. The object at the side is actually the Covenant Assault Carrier. The rear of the carrier is in the picture but it's the front that we see reflected in the visor.
EDIT: OXM said this? My god, are they paid to be retarded monkeys?

Bahhaha I used Devcam to see MC take his helmet off in Halo 1, and he did, and I was in such suspense as to what would be underneath, and then, yeah...
I laughed for a long time...
But that was ages ago, on PC...
I think that video was taken on Xbox...

And i also read that spartan might not even be the master cheif. It might be some other spartan. That would explain the assult rifle. The "other" spartan may not be equiped with the newest weponry.now i think it is the vortex and the scar is the lightning.

Bungie cleary states it's Master Chief on bungie.net. In the announcement, the documentary ("Look at the Master Chief's armor, you see cool things on the Master Chief's armor"), the FAQ, etc.
Anubis

It's definaltey the chief, and the "face" is simply the reflection of his visor. Anyway i doubt bungie would do things accidently, they are not about to reveal their hero's face in a trailer for the final game. Anyway in an interview they said that theirs heroes are not perfect and the imperfectoin in the chief is that you never see his face.
Btw havokdo you have to swear so much?

NEVER SHOW FACE!
ODST_Camper
Aug 24 2006, 01:20 PM
For all things sacred on HALO... They must never show the face of the Chief or else everything will be in great per... ahh screw it... The only thing closest to showing his face would be him at the final part of the movie removing his helmet and getting a well earned rest. And guess what It'll be like the ending of HALO 1 (especially with the insides the ship mod)
RMcDowell
Aug 25 2006, 12:55 AM

Acutally hollywood will probably show his face but it will be like:
Chief takes off helmet
Entire audience gasps
Then one of them say :"WTF? Vin Diesel?"
Cyborg
Aug 25 2006, 12:29 PM
Chief takes off helmet:
1. Helmet underneath like with the inside ship mod
2. something to cover his face except for eyes and mouth like a ski mask
3. shows his face = insta-worst movie
4. shows that he was infected by flood somehow and is horribly disfigured
5. no face at all.

You know they could do this in a very clever but un-climatic way by showing John's face during his childhood and letting the 'helmet' stand for his real introduction as an adult later into the film.

Aug 25 2006, 11:07 PM
Confusing film.... I think that they should just let Halo be a game...
Personally, I didn't really like the books...

I think that they kind of... I dunno... Limited Bungie to what they could or couldn't do?
Like, now everyone thinks that there will be more Spartans, when Bungie hasn't even hinted at that in any way whatsoever...
And my friend said to me a while ago "I wonder if we'll se Dr Halsley in Halo 3..."
All of the characters made up in the books were exactly that: Made up...
Now everyone expects Bungie to include them in the real storyline...

I agree.I think they well show his child hood form but not his "real" face. But mabye later they well make a video like a short movie that well show his face.
